Dermpath Diagnostics is the first national dermatopathology-focused company with over ninety board-certified dermatopathologists and eighteen dermatopathology practices. Dermpath Diagnostics comprises many of the leading dermatopathologists in the United States and is responsible in aggregate for service work across the entire country. By creating this specialty-centered company, we have created a significant number of benefits for clinicians, patients, as well as the specialty of dermatopathology. While our excellent local accessibility and personalized physician consultations continue, we have also enhanced our national dermatopathology coverage by employing a marketing team dedicated to the field of dermatology and dermatopathology.
Dermpath Diagnostics is also dedicated to education, not only of residents in dermatology and pathology but also of practitioners, both dermatologists and pathologists alike. We are excited to have the premier dermatopathology teaching facility in the country with the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology. Located in Manhattan, Dr. A. Bernard Ackerman hosts numerous lectures and conferences at the Ackerman Academy, a 10,000 square-foot teaching center. A number of our physicians conduct educational seminars locally for community physicians while others are guest lecturers around the world and authors of many scholarly publications. Some of our physicians participate directly in residency programs around the country. Dr. David R. Barron conducts the renowned Barron Board Review for dermatology residents that precedes the American Board of Dermatology exam. Many of our practices have glass study sets available on request and finally, there are scholarships available for trainees in dermatology where individuals can spend anywhere from a week to a month in a practice of the individual's choice.
